The Makita DHP484 is a cordless hammer driver drill powered by 18v li-ion battery and developed based on the current model, the DHP480. The MAKDHP484Z features an all metal gear construction, with aluminium gear housing for extra protection. Improvements also include increase impact rate making the DHP484 that little bit stronger. It’s also more compact than the DHP480 at only 182mm compared to 199mm.

Features

Durable build: Its brushless design means that this Makita combi drill offers frictionless performance. This power drill also has aluminium gear housing; the Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) guards the 18v combi drill against dust and drips.
Versatile function: This Makita drill has 21 torque settings + drill and delivers a maximum 54Nm of torque, so it can be used as both a drill driver or a hammer drill to easily drill into wood, metal, masonry and concrete.
Ergonomic design: Even with a battery, the LXT combi drill still manages a light weight of 1.8kg. The rubberised handle offers a comfortable hold. The keyless single-sleeve chuck means you can easily insert and remove drill bits using one hand.
Safety features: Thanks to this Li-ion brushless drill’s electronic brake control, the chuck will stop turning as soon as the speed control trigger is released. The twin LED lights have pre-glow function, so you can clearly see your workpiece before and during use.
Portable convenience: The light weight of less than 2kg means that the Makita brushless power tool is easy to carry. You can keep your Makita combi drill safely stored on your tool belt when not in use, thanks to the belt clip.
